I know I should be. Doing this job the most part of the people believe that you MUST be on social media as much as you can.
Social Media bring you joy, money and success. Well, I had all of them in my life and you know what??? I can tell you straight, they have nothing to do with real life and with the carpe diem we are all looking for since the day we were born.
I mean, don’t get me wrong, social media are excellent platforms to have fun, and for someone even for making money.
But photography is not a matter of likes or sharing. You cannot tell me that you consider someone a good photographer because he’s or she’s having many likes or followers.
That’s insane. Photography is a form of art and the artistic side of this passion has nothing to do with “what the people think about my pictures…”.
I’ve been spending a lot of time on social media till the day I realized that I was missing the real life, the smell of every single day.
I wanna live as much as I can, I don’t wanna spend my life on a social media getting addicted to the number of likes or followers. I don’t wanna get angry anymore because of some comments I received in the past just because I’ve been working with some celebrity.
Life, the real life has nothing to do with a social media.
Social media are fun, nothing to say. I love to try to keep it that way.
So, as many of you asked for, I’ll post more but always keeping that road a funny side of the journey. But my focus will always be on the journey itself, I don’t wanna miss the view…
Thanks for all the messages, I took sometime for my family and my daughter while getting ready for the new projects starting in the next day.
And with a new lockdown… I can promise I’ll try to post more even on social media. Thanks everyone
