It’s like you are there, right in the same moment the picture has been taken. One day ago, or 1 year ago or 50 years ago.
That’s what photography conveys to the viewers. That’s the deepest meaning of a photo.
We should watch at the picture and in some kind of ways, depending on every single person, we are feeling like we are there, we dream to be there, we always dreamed that scenario, we always wanted to be part of that image.
When you look at a picture in a magazine or a campaign on a building or at an exhibition, you must recognise the difference between looking at a picture and feeling it.
In the second case, you are in front of something that is inspiring you a lot.
So much that for a fe seconds you want so badly to be there that you feel yourself almost there.
As I always said, photography can be a fu….ing time machine, but it’s so fast that we do not realise when we travel the time.
