I know, it’s been awhile. When you start doing this job you put all yourself into it and what you call your passion soon turns out to be your obsession. The industry pretends that you can make money after money and what you’ve been thinking about your dream job it’s showing itself like a “regular” job where stress becomes your daily routine.
A good lesson I learned in the last 30 years is that sometimes you really need to take a break. Even a long one at least until you feel ready to be back. It happened to me a couple of times and the last one was really a long pause. I changed my agents, I changed some of my assistants and collaborators. I made everything more simple and easy. I just wanna focus on photography, the channel, the new book and the exhibitions and doing it using my way and taking my time. I know, if only my mind was like the most part of the people I would be millionaire today. Instead, I never took pictures for money, and that is my problem with any agent I’ve been working with. I’m 54, almost 55 and the last thing I need right now is to make my life more complicated. Take a deep breath and have a stunning day.
