Pictures born to be black and white and pictures born to be color

Please I hate people shooting with no brain because today we can turn every single picture in a black and white picture or viceversa.
Well, for the ones coming from the old era, where we used to work with films, we had to know before what kind of images we were looking for and if we needed a black and white or color film in our camera.
That’s what photography is all about.
Yes with the modern post production we can really have fun to consider different solutions with some images. True is that today we shoot color even if we have that shot in our brain painted with black and white, because we know we are going to turn it black and white with the post production, but as I said we have it in our mind, exactly what we are looking for, no matter if we shoot color.
There are pictures born to be black and white and pictures born to be with color, I don’t see any other choice in what I call the creative process to take pictures.
So please take your camera and think like if you have to put a film inside. In a fraction of time choose if what you see is going to be colored or not.
That’s a huge difference for a professional photographer.

So please don’t tell me anymore on my set… “who cares??? we are going to see in post production if we want it black and white or color…”
