Do you remember the times when we were using films and we had to trash all the out of focus ones…???
And if you forgot to do it when you showed the slides to the mags you worked for… they usually asked something like:”do you think I’m here wasting my time to check some out of focus images…?”
Well the time has changed and today we have a different sense of art, thanks to the web.
So it’s even more usual to see out of focus images that catch out attention.
I love them, sometimes I believe they can show some kind of reality we missed at the moment of the shoot… and so many times I’ve been shooting in my life moving the camera on purpose to get some blur and some out of focus.
No1 can tell you… ever… what to delete or what to keep.
In this picture we were on a rooftop in Beverly Hills with April Bowlby while she was getting ready for the shooting.
