For one second, close your eyes, delete whatever is cool in this industry and whatever is not.
Think about what makes you work in a better comfortable zone…
I know, if you are a Pro you must use the Capture One Pro by PhaseOne and let me tell you, it’s just an amazing tool.
With only one little / huge problem.
If you don’t use Canon or Nikon or many other cameras and you didn’t buy a PhaseOne camera but you wanted to use simply the best around… you invested like $50,000 with camera body and lens buying a Hasselblad H5D or H6D, well you are out of the game.
So, you still wanna try to be cool using the Phocus software delivered by Hasselblad… but please let’s be serious… still far away from the Adobe Lightroom. It’s like a cheap version of the Adobe Lightroom.
When you buy a Hasselblad camera you have a DVD explaining you what the camera can do, you have a free version of the Phocus software and you have a copy of the Lightroom software… so, what’s the point.
Because tech photographers can spend their hours talking about details, instead the shooters, the photographers shooting every single day and with a very strong deadline, they must use what can really help their job.
So, here is the point, I do, I use Lightroom, since the starting version, I can use it for the Canon, the Nikon and whatever other camera I can find on location, and most important I can use it with Hasselblad.
I preferred many years ago to let the other photographers to be cool (someone out there is still using Bridge), I just wanted to be productive as much as I can.
yes, I speak Lightroom even with my Hasselblad.
