We all have been in love with Milan, sooner or later. The fashion industry started here and in Paris. Dudes like me growing up at 20 km from Milan has been such a fortune to be inside the fashion world without even knowing it.
I shot this picture of Helena Christensen for a magazine in the 90s. I was back from a concert at the night and they sent me to the Mariella Burani fashion show and many more.
Of course the 99% of my images were on focus and ready to be published. But I wanted to try something different and I shot some of the pics giving them the same movement I saw during the show.
Not even to say. All the mags I worked for in those years rejected the images but I’m still so much linked to these shots.
After that time I started to travel a lot and never stopped.
I’ve been shooting almost everywhere in this world and I have to say thanks to those years in Milan.
So, I’m glad to be back invited for some of the shows and I’ll do my best to be at as many as I can.
