I used to be in Montecarlo every month when I was younger and I was starting my career. It’s like 5 hours from Milan and between April and September we had many opportunities to be shooting in Monaco or very close.
Then there was the Helmut period, when Newton was living here and planning some shootings here like Bluemarine and I had this great opportunity to be on location as assistant, the best photography school of my life, what I call real life.
So, I still go back because of meetings and shootings and I must say, I’m still in love with this place, I think it’s the most glamorous place in the world where even when you go for a walk you must have a style.
