I’ve been spending 30 years traveling around the globe. I’ve been everywhere with agents managing my schedule and my private life and I ended up having no private life at all.
So, when Italy was going into the lockdown for the coronavirus, I wanted to be sure to land at home at my farm, the only place where I wanted to be.
I kinda enjoyed this period of time. I’ve been relaxing, walking a lot inside the property from one paddock to another and it was like going back to my old life, no pressures, no rules, no deadlines. It was like another life, another one that I love so much.
I forgot about travels, flights, customs, locations, shootings and whatever is connected with that business.
Sometimes I like to stop at the top of the hills of the property and I love watching the sunset.
I think I love this easy life. I know we have contracts and people making pressure to go back to work as soonest possible, but this time at home made me enjoy the little things.
I had a stunning life, traveling like crazy, sleeping in the most beautiful hotels in the world and working with the best pros around.
And what I was missing was this part of my life.
So, thank you for sending messages. I wanted to take this break and I really needed and you know I’m not a social person. The time the people spend with the socials I prefer to spend it with my daughter, our horses and dogs.
Don’t take it wrong. That’s just the way I am.

And yes, photography is still in my life, it’ll always be and we’ll be back on the road really soon.
