and I keep on giving the same answer: I did almost everything about photography when I started. I loved to reach some kind of limits that I wanted to experiment for myself. So I did concerts in Milan, fashion shows between Milan, New York and Paris. I shot soccer games, F1 and wildlife. Horses has been my start and fashion started right after on the same level… in the 90s… in Milan, you had to be a fashion photographer.
And even when I was traveling while everyone was relaxing I always asked my manager to do more.
That’s how in 2003 between a fashion editorial and another in Miami Beach I went to New York at the Giant stadium to shoot a soccer game.
But the mags kept telling me… we need to see where the ball is… we don’t need portraits…
I really never listened about what they were asking me. I just did it for myself. I’ve always been looking for more in photography and I still do.
