I always said that it all started there and one day I wish I could finish there.
In 1992 Andrew devastated the Florida. Within only a few months we were going back there from NYC or Paris with our productions.
This time, even after Irma is not going to be different.
We’ll be back there producing much more than before.
The best way to help floridians is to bring jobs, money and business back there.
And that’s what me and my managers are going to do.
Whatever will be fashion editorials or campaigns we are heading back to South Florida to produce them.
It’s going to be my open studio for the next seasons.
I had everything from the Keys and Miami Beach when I moved there from the foggy Milan in the 90s. I just feel I need to give back a little if I can.
Donate is a great way to help, but bringing jobs there together with new opportunities is a fantastic way to help the people and the businesses there to be back soon.
When in the 90s I used to be an assistant in Miami Beach I learned this job at the most and I’m pretty sure… there wouldn’t be any Joey Shaw or fashion and celebrity photographer without South Florida, Miami Beach and the Keys.
So, I’m going to give you a few weeks, I’m talking with my managers and we’ll have a briefing in the middle of the week, but yes, I want to go back there to work for the next upcoming seasons.
About the Tv Show, I think we can make it in Miami.
We’re packing Miami and let’s start again Key Biscayne, Key Largo, Islamorada and Key West.
