because when I see people on set like contributors, journalists, assistants, they all think my life is all about fabulous…
well, ask me the same question tonight when I’ll be working at midnight or tomorrow morning when I’ll be driving to the airport for my next flight.
Last week I met a model in Paris and the week later the same girl in London and we’ll see again on a set the next month in LA.
This is a very hard job, with no time for relax and no time for a break.
A lot of money is involved and they pretend the impossible from all of us.
We live in 5 stars hotels…? Well, sometimes I go back from work and trust me I don’t even know what kind of a hotel I’m going to take a shower and sleep. Sometimes I wake up at 4 AM to be on set or to go to the airport to flight on the other side of the ocean.
Last month I was so tired, and you know I’m 49, I drove back my rental car to the Hertz in Milan and I forgot that my manager rented that car at Avis… that’s insane I know.
I really wanted this job when I was 18, I really did all my best to do it for 25 years, but trust me, this is not something for everyone because you must be ready to live NOT a regular life.
So, if you find something fab in all of it…
