when the people rocking your professional life keep telling you “this is not the time to stop, not even to sleep…”
so you have like “at least” 3 shootings a day in 3 different locations and the last one, before you start with the last shots you really want to make it easier…?!?!?! NOOOO. That’s the moment you ask your make up artist some waterproof make up on her lips and her eyes and that’s the moment you tell your stylist “ok, we are gonna make the dress wet!!!” and the stylist is looking back at you shouting “you wanna wet a $12,000 dress? You gotta be crazy man!”
and then the sunset is gone, the dark is covering your set and you end up asking the assistant the prep for the flashes that you never use but if they ask you to work in the night….
and you find yourself shooting in a shower, a beautiful shower with 2 places, a huge one.
A few shots, we are all tired enough, then everything is over.
You go back to your 405 junior suite, because living in a hotel is your new trend, and instead of jumping in your bed, you can’t, you really can’t, you take a shower, you order for some room service and you go to the terrace in the back of your suite, just to stay there, getting all the energy that the ocean is sending you, you look at the Pier, and yes keep thinking, …yes, Santa Monica is such a stunning place to work.
